Congratulations to PPA member, Steve Trapp for being elected SPE Cleveland Section 2024 President. 

Jon Michael "Mike" Cude, a member of this year's Plastics Hall of Fame induction class, and a member of PPA, died February 14. He was 67.

Ernest Thomas Oskin passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024, he was 96 years old.

Wendy Hoenig was appointed president of the Plastics Pioneers Association on May 4. Hoenig has been a member of PPA for 10 years and she previously had served as secretary and vice president.

Lexington Peterson, 24, started her plastics career as an intern at the Center for Bioplastics and Biocomposites with Iowa State University and Washington State University, a program funded through the National Science Foundation for students interested in research.

The Milwaukee Section of the Society of Plastics Engineers devotes time, effort, and money to plastics education. On April 18, 2023, the Section held their annual education meeting.
